On July 5, 2026, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, conducted a field visit, working at Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (Phu My 3 SIP) in Tan Phuoc Ward and Long Son Petrochemical Industrial Park in Long Son Commune, Ho Chi Minh City. The visit was aimed at assessing the development potential of these strategic industrial zones and discussing the future direction of the city's industrial, seaport, and logistics ecosystem as part of Ho Chi Minh City's maritime economic development strategy.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, speaks during the working session at Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park.
During the visit, Chairman Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized the city's commitment to upgrading its industrial base by transitioning from first-generation industrial development to second-generation industrial development, with a strong focus on eco-industrial parks and industries featuring medium- to high-level technological capabilities.

At the working session with Phu My 3 SIP, the Chairman highly appreciated the industrial park's integrated master planning, modern technical infrastructure, and sustainable development orientation. He recognized the project as a model aligned with the future direction of next-generation industrial development, where economic growth is closely integrated with resource efficiency, environmental protection, and compliance with international Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.
Reporting to the delegation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, stated that after more than a decade of development, Phu My 3 SIP has become one of the largest and most modern industrial parks in Southern Vietnam. Established in 2014 with a total area of nearly 1,000 hectares, the industrial park has been comprehensively developed with high-quality infrastructure, utilities, and business support services to meet the increasingly sophisticated requirements of international investors.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, presents the project overview to the delegation.
One of Phu My 3 SIP's key competitive advantages is its strategic location, offering direct connectivity to the Cai Mep–Thi Vai Deep-water Port Complex, energy port facilities, and the region's major logistics hubs. Building on these advantages, Phu My 3 SIP has developed the Phu My Global Supply Chain Center, an integrated logistics ecosystem comprising a 38-hectare Inland Container Depot (ICD), port terminals, a smart container depot, and approximately 320,000 square meters of multifunctional warehousing facilities.
This integrated ecosystem enables Phu My 3 SIP to provide not only industrial land but also comprehensive manufacturing, logistics, and business support solutions. As a result, investors can optimize operating costs, shorten cargo transit times, and enhance their competitiveness within global supply chains.
As Ho Chi Minh City expands the development space following administrative restructuring and establishes new economic growth poles, the Phu My–Tan Phuoc area has been identified as a strategic development zone with outstanding advantages in industry, seaports, logistics, and the maritime economy. Within this development framework, Phu My 3 SIP is expected to become one of the city's key pillars in building a world-class industrial and logistics hub.
For Phu My 3 SIP, the Chairman's visit and working session not only reaffirm the industrial park's increasingly important role in the city's maritime economic development strategy but also provide strong momentum to further realize its vision of a next-generation industrial park characterized by modernization, sustainability, and green development.
Looking ahead, with the continued support of local authorities, the business community, and strategic partners, Phu My 3 SIP will further enhance its service capabilities and make meaningful contributions toward Ho Chi Minh City's goal of developing a modern, sustainable industrial, logistics, and maritime economic center in the new phase of growth.
